We design and manufacture two types of line tension monitors; the Running Line Monitor (RLM) and the Static Line Monitor (SLM). These rugged, compact and accurate units are perfect for applications where a fixed means of measuring is impractical.
Featuring high quality stainless steel fixtures and an aluminium frame with marine grade coating to prevent corrosion, our line tension monitors are built to last. Their rugged construction makes them ideal for operation in the most extreme environments, including marine, offshore and onshore applications.
Available to suit various rope sizes and capacities, the line tension monitor’s simple clamp design makes the units easy to retrofit and move for use in other applications. Measuring tension, pay-out and speed in real-time provides customers with maximum flexibility in line control, sensor calibration and data logging.
Static line monitors are compact and measure loads up to 50 tonne’s, whereas our running line monitors provide data logging and can measure load speed and distance up to 100 tonnes.
With extensive experience and knowledge in torque measurement, our rotary torque transducers offer a high level of accuracy and require less space to operate than traditional in-line transducers.
Our solutions are typically bespoke and engineered to specific customer requirements.

Running line monitors
Running line monitors provide data logging and can measure load speed and distance up to 300 tonnes.
Easy to set up and use, our individual units are designed to suit wire rope sizes and load, and are available for both safe and hazardous areas. For optimal accuracy and repeatability a 5-roller system of operation is applied. Options for accommodating load speed and distance are available and data logging is offered on most variants.

Our static line tension monitors are highly accurate and compact.
Designed for wire ropes from 7/8″ to 2″ diameter, they are suitable for measuring loads of up to 50 tonnes. Simple to install and offering flexibility in use, the small size of the device allows it to be carried easily from application to application.
