Lubricant Analysis Category 2 aims to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge required to establish, implement and manage a lubrication programme, by having a good understanding of lubrication best practices and the specialised testing required for specific lubricants.
The course is ideal if you are responsible for making informed lubrication decisions at your organisation. As well as covering the fundamentals, candidates will learn advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques, the contamination effects on machinery, the integration of lubrication with other CBM technologies, and much more.
This course is based on the ISO 18436-4 certification program for lubricant analysis category 2. The course runs over four days with an additional half day for review and optional BINDT PCN certification exam.
The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) is an accredited certification body offering personnel certification against criteria set out in international and European standards through the internationally recognised PCN Certification Scheme.
As an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) registered by BINDT, our vibration courses are based on a third-party condition monitoring certification scheme which is aligned with ISO 18436 standards.
One of the many benefits of achieving PCN certification is that successful candidates will gain a recognised qualification, which enhances career prospects and provides a certificate of competence.
