Thermal Imaging Awareness
COURSE SUMMARY
This course will enable delegates to take images and identify common problems that might exist around the plant, but it is not intended to make you a thermography expert. It is delivered at your facility, using your camera, so that your personnel are confident in taking accurate measurements and interpreting the results.
The first part of the course is classroom based and delegates will explore the basics of
thermography. The second part of the course aims to put that theory into practice by performing live inspections around the plant.
The course content can be adjusted to meet your requirements, focussing on the applications that are relevant to your plant.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Be confident handling and operating the camera.
- Understand the basics of thermography.
- Be able to take visually and thermally focused images.
- Can recognise and manage reflections.
- Familiar with the different applications of thermal imaging.
- Knows how to install and use optional lenses.
- Confident in compiling and interpreting thermography reports.
